“Art is a connector, a communicator, a human voice for complex ideas. Art challenges the status quo and provides alternatives. Art serves as a catalyst of change.”

I successfully completed my masters studies with a thesis about how artists and art institutions adopt to the growing pressures of the climate crisis. The findings of my extensive research for the thesis inspired me so much that I founded my blog eARTh - How arts & culture work for our planet which you will find here. In it I share inspirational content, projects or people that I find worth knowing about.

But my hunger was not completely satisfied yet. I further educated myself and trained both with the Aktionsnetzwerk Nachhaltigkeit in Kultur und Medien and the Institut für Zukunftskultur. With the solid base of knowledge, competences and skills, I have been working as a sustainability manager and coach, author as well as speaker since November 2021. Since then I have supported a growing amount of clients – cultural institutions, associations and festivals – in integrating aspects of sustainability in their business operations in their very own way.

My role as a Transformation Manager for Sustainability in the Arts? Orchestrating a symphony of change.
